I'm Deanna, a senior technical writer with experience across user and developer documentation, docs-as-code, and documentation automation. Over the past seven years, I've worked on everything from rebuilding user guides and creating new documentation to improving OpenAPI specifications and automating documentation workflows.

Lately, I've been curious about what happens on the other side of the documentation. I've started building developer tools, working with APIs and SDKs, and experimenting with AI-assisted development and documentation workflows. Beyond the Docs is where I explore that curiosity by building the tools I document and thinking more deeply about the technical decisions that shape the developer experience.
